FREE TRAINING PROGRAM ON CRAFT, JUTE ART, COFFEE
PAINTING AND SILPCAR WORK:
MAC welfare
society conducted a training program on 20th Feb,2015 in Siddhartha
Arts college , Kanuru. Total 70 college students participated actively in the
training program with NGO members and college staff. The training program
focused more attention on crafts, Jute art, coffee painting and silpkar work. Everybody
have interest on learning crafts and arts. But they have internal fear that
they cannot reach the goal. However they take more interest in their interested
work rather than the other works. Generally college education is very
burdensome to the students to them. So the students feel psychologically that
they would loose creativity. However training programs would help to encourage
them to fallow the right direction to improve their aptitudes and tastes on
arts and crafts. If women are trained, they can stand on their own legs and
earn their livelihood. Girl students can pursue their arts and crafts of their
interest even after they are married; in case they are not willing or their
husbands are not willing send them outside from employment. Thus this type of
training programs would definitely help a long way in their future. The NGO
members informed that professional courses are useful and facilities would be
provided by the organizations if necessary and without fees. The products made
by them can be exhibited in the exhibitions and salable If the products are
liked by the visitors. The Organization
would provide an opportunity to exhibit their artistic articles and handicrafts
and also provide facilities for marketing.
The participants felt very happy for having undergone this type of
training.
