TRAINING PROGRAM ON SAREE PAINTING:
In Madduru
Village of Penamaluru mandal of Krishna District, a training program on saree
painting was conducted by MAC welfare society for the benefit of women SHG
members for their sustainable livelihood. This program was conducted from 1st
to 14th Feb, 2015 for 50
women SHG members. in the market different types of Sarees are available duly adopting fashion technology.
There is lot of demand for sarees with painting, jewelry, Kundan, threds, small
mirrors. The role of fabric painting, embroidery etc is more attractive to the modern
women. Hence it is understood that the
demand can be improved provided fashion technology is adopted during saree
painting etc. Government provides loans to the DWACRA women for Micro
enterprises for their livelihoods. Hence
our NGO is prepared to provide assistance, free training so that DWACRA members
can learn Saree painting, Embroidery, stitching, laces, etc and earn their livelihoods.
The training program was successfully organized for the benefit of the SHG
women and the participants felt happy.
